The BOB COLETTI MEMORIAL had its first outing in 1992 with approximately 34 Golfers.Ten years later we have a total of 125 Golfers and 175 Golf/Dinner Guests.

Many of you have been with us since the beginning, and because of your continued support we have been able to increase our player base each year to reach our goal of 120 Golfers. Ten years ago that seemed like just a dream, but now it is a reality.

Because of Bob Coletti’s love for children, we decided to work with Schneider Children’s Hospital for pediatric cancer research and the Department of Oncology at North Shore University Hospital/Manhasset. Both are members of the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System
.
We are a small committee and we do the best we can to get people to help us fight this battle. We do not get enormous donations, and do not have the big celebrities that can make a large donation. WE WORK HARD TO GET EVERY PENNY. But the group that attends our outing give what they can afford, and whatever we get from them, WE KNOW THEY WORKED HARD FOR, AND THEY GIVE IT TO US FROM THEIR HEART.

Many of you have been involved because of your association in life with Bob Coletti. Others have joined us in the fight because of your association in life with committee members. Whatever the reason for being here it’s all about one group of people coming together to obtain a common goal, FIGHTING CANCER, and hopefully when the day is over you say to yourself “I want to be here next year”!

Once again, the family of Bob Coletti would like to take this opportunity to extend our appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who participated in the Ninth Annual Bob Coletti Memorial Golf Outing. The Donations that were so generously given will be greatly appreciated by Schneider Children’s Hospital and the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System... to help find a cure for Cancer.
