It’s time again to get out your golf clubs for the 17th annual Bob Coletti Memorial Golf Outing to be held August 11th at the Island Hills Golf & Country Club in Sayville.

Bob Coletti was a loving father and spouse. He was a strong, confident, human being who loved people-loved even more to help others --- and had a passion for living. (Not to mention golf!) Unfortunately, in 1990 he was diagnosed with lung cancer. Although he was given only three months to live, his determination to carry on and the medical advances available to him at the time, helped him to enjoy another thirteen months with his family and friends. In memory of his life and his fight, we are hosting this golf outing and asking for your support.

As you know from the news, thanks to the contributions and the concern of individuals like you, the odds get better every day for those diagnosed with cancer. We are in an exciting time in the battle for the cure. The Bob Coletti Memorial Golf Outing is our way of helping to win that battle. As in the past, all funds raised through the Golf Outing will be donated to
the Children’s Medical Fund/Schneider Children’s Hospital for Cancer Research and North Shore University Hospital’s Dept. of Oncology in Manhasset. (Both are members of the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System.)

Won’t you help us make a difference? If you donate a prize that we can raffle off on the day of the Golf Outing, or make a monetary donation you will make a difference for more people than you can imagine. You will also help us to honor the memory of a man we loved.
